01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Using a serrated bread knife, slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls horizontally, keeping the rolls intact.
03 - Place the bottom half of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Arrange sliced cheddar cheese evenly over the rolls. Add slices of ham or turkey if desired.
04 - Position the top half of the rolls over the cheese and fillings.
05 - Mix melted butter with mustard, honey, and garlic powder if using. Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.
06 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
07 - Let sandwiches cool for 2 minutes, then cut into individual mini sandwiches and serve warm.
