01 - Set oven temperature to 350°F (180°C).
02 - Remove any plastic packaging from the cheese and place the wheel back in its wooden box (without lid) or a small baking dish.
03 - Using a sharp knife, create a crisscross pattern on top of the cheese.
04 - Place garlic slices and rosemary or thyme leaves into the cuts on the cheese.
05 - Drizzle olive oil over the cheese and season with freshly ground black pepper.
06 - Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling in the center.
07 - Accompany with sliced French baguette and assorted crudités for dipping.
